Fishman L-100 vs Roland AC 60

Sometimes the unofficial “done by one guy at home” product comparisons carry far more weight for me than reviews where you don’t know if there were a vested interest or not.

I did recently a real test between Fishman Loudbox 100 and Roland AC 60, with a guitar of mine. The Fishman is by far more open sounding and less colored, has a greater dynamic range, although the Roland gives a not bad “jazz” sound. But compress too much as soon as you push it a bit (to preserve the two *very little* speakers from breaking, I suppose). IMO, each have almost unusable effects, but that is me. Even at 200 CAN$ more, seems to me that the Fishman has greater potential. More neutral.
